Salting Home

There is a story included in my collection, Clown's Shoes, which has long been a favourite of mine. It's a story that really sticks with me. It's a story I'm proud of. It's called 'Salting Home', and this weekend the lovely people over at For Books' Sake have published it as their Weekend Read. You can read it here, if you'd like to. I'm so thrilled this story in particular might find a new audience...

Now, I must get back to Book Three. I'm deep in the dark of 1914 at the moment, on the eve of war, following my great, great uncle through Malta as he learns to be a soldier. I really do have the best job in the world!
